Digital lender SocietyOne is weighing a sharemarket listing this year to fund lending growth and new products, having passed $1 billion on its loan platform, after competitors Plenti and Harmoney listed in 2020.
Lender Plenti, once RateSetter, prepares a $55 million ASX float, betting on car finance growth as major banks retreat from auto lending, says chief executive Daniel Foggo.
Plenti, formerly RateSetter, enlarged its IPO to $55 million and will float on the ASX under ticker PLT from 23 September 2020, with Bell Potter and Wilsons as joint lead managers.
